How Radical Self Love Can Save the World The world is hurting right now. People and the land are suffering in unbearable ways. The beauty and reality of this is that we cannot fight all the fights to help protect and save the world, but we can relieve our own suffering that will spawn ripples of healing beyond. Our physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies cannot withstand that amount of pressure and energy exertion to do all the things. During these times of so many shifts in awareness due to social media pollination fueling the political uproar and protests, where do you stand? Do you desire social change? What are your core values and beliefs that support your actions? It is of utmost importance that we each, individually connect with ourselves to determine where we stand in this quickly evolving world so we may collectively join together to make a difference that will save the world from this colossal suffering. Many people are uprising, people who have never protested before in their lives are now on the streets with their families, fighting for the causes that they believe in. You need to know what you believe in right now. We all need to be more selfish. We cannot fight all the fights, so you need to establish a practice of radical self love that will allow you the space to tune into yourself, your values and gifts to determine how you may be of service. This task alone can save the world. Whether you share your love to your children, write poetry, pick up trash silently on the side of the road, it's your responsibility to do what brings you joy and fuels your passion to live. If we each, as individuals connected to our purpose in this way, we collectively will make the change that is needed to create more love in that world that shines light on the pain and suffering and heals.
